    • A portable radioactive substance monitoring device comprises an elongated cylindrical housing and a base. The housing has a longitudinal axis along a length direction thereof, and contains a hollow section within which are provided: a detector for monitoring radioactive substances; a circuitry connected to the detector for processing detection signals from the detector; and an alarm connected to the circuitry, for sending alarm signals upon detection of the radioactive substances. The housing at a lower end thereof is detachably connected to the base. The device is compact and delicate in structure, and thereby can be carried and used conveniently.

    • An arm-folding mechanism for use in a vehicle-mounted radiation imaging system. The vehicle includes a vehicle body behind a driving cab. The vehicle body includes a generator cabin and a control cabin. The arm-folding mechanism includes a vertical detection arm, a main arm frame, and a hinged mechanism hingedly connecting the vertical detection arm with the main arm frame. The hinged mechanism includes: a first connection arrangement having a free end and a fixed end fixedly connected with or integral with the main arm frame; a second connection arrangement fixedly connected with the vertical detection arm; and an intermediate arrangement connecting the first connection arrangement with the second connection arrangement so that the vertical detection arm can rotate relative to the main arm frame. The bottom of the first connection arrangement is at the same level as or above the bottom of the main arm frame.

    • The present invention provides a vehicle-carried radiation inspection system having a simple structure with advantages of convenient operation, little scanning blind area and reliable safety performance. The system comprises a loading vehicle, a lifting device mounted to the loading vehicle and a radiation scanning inspection means fixedly mounted to the lifting device so as to ascend/descend together with the lifting device. The lifting device is configured to enable the lifting device and the radiation scanning inspection means as a whole to be apart from the ground by a predetermined safety distance when the loading vehicle is moving, and to enable the minimum distance therebetween during inspection to be less than the predetermined safety distance. According to the invention, the radiation scanning inspection means may be switched between higher and lower positions as required with the ascending/descending of its combination with the lifting device.
