    • A method for playing a game with a gaming machine includes the steps of: (a) receiving a signal indicating an instruction of starting a game; (b) starting the game; (c) executing the game; (d) displaying a plurality of symbols on a display device; (e) each time a predetermined symbol or a predetermined combination of symbols is displayed on the display device as a result of the game, adding a predetermined point; (f) if the point cumulatively added in step (e) has reached a threshold, performing a lottery to determine a specific combination of symbols; (g) setting an award for the specific combination of symbols that is larger than a normal award; and (h) if the specific combination of symbols is displayed on the display device, paying the larger award.

    • A gaming machine includes plural stations and a processor. Each station can determine a game result and execute a game independently. When executing a base game, the processor accepts a gaming value betting and updates used credit information. The processor executes an event game involving plural stations when a predetermined condition is satisfied. The processor awards an event game payout to a station which has achieved the best game result, based on the event game result. In awarding the event game payout, the processor changes a content of the event game payout based on the used credit information of the station.

    • A gaming machine includes reels, motors, an input device, and a controller. The controller is configured with logic to: (a) start a game in response to an input to an input device; (b) determine symbols to be statically displayed on the reels by performing a lottery; (c) transmit a signal to the motors so as to cause the reels to rotate; (d) transmit a signal to the motors so as to cause the reels to come to rest in accordance with a result of the lottery; (e) when the symbols statically displayed matches a predetermined combination of symbols, determine a corresponding amount of award to be paid from credit; and (f) when the symbols statically displayed match a first combination of symbols, determine an amount of award to be paid from the credit for a second combination of symbols differing from the first combination of symbols.

    • A memory of a gaming device stores therein a string of numbers that gradually increase by a predetermined increment, and a history of a bet amount in every game. A processor of the gaming machine operates to: control an operation of the gaming unit in such a manner that a game starts when the player operates the operation unit; determine win or loss of the game based on a predetermined probability; give a game medium to the player when it is determined that the game is won; store into the memory the bet amount determined through the operation unit in every game; and compare the string of numbers and the history of the bet amount stored in the memory with each other, at every predetermined number of games.
