The control arrangement has an actuation element for applying a drive force to a syringe holder which is movable relative to the housing and on which the receiving chamber can be secured, a ram holder which is movable relative to the housing and on which the piston ram can be secured, and a transmission mechanism by means of which the ram holder can be coupled to the actuation element. Provision is made that the transmission mechanism has a toothed gearing by means of which the ram holder can be driven, according to a relative movement of the actuation element with respect to the housing, and which for this purpose has teeth on the housing.

摘要： A pneumatic retractable syringe has a plunger having an interior retraction lumen. The plunger and syringe barrel have cooperating locking elements so that the plunger is locked after use within the syringe barrel. After injection of medicament is completed, the needle is retracted into the lumen by compressed gas that is released from a gas cell within the syringe when the gas cell is ruptured just before the plunger reaches the end of its downstream path of travel.

摘要： A shielding needle assembly is provided with a hub having a needle cannula with a puncture tip extending from a forward end thereof, and a shield member in telescoping association with the hub. A drive member biases the hub and the shield member away from each other for relative telescopic movement between a first position in which the puncture tip extends from a forward end of the shield member, and a second position in which the puncture tip is encompassed within the shield member. A pivoting lever maintains the hub and the shield member in the first position against the bias of the drive member with the needle cannula exposed for use. The lever is pivotable during contact with a patient's skin surface such as during venipuncture, thereby releasing the hub and the shield member from the first position and permitting the drive member to bias the hub and the shield member toward the second position.

摘要： A medication administration device is provided. The device has a flexible tube having an administration end, an activation end and a lumen between the ends. An administration assembly is attached to the administration end. An activation assembly is attached to the activation end. A syringe is disposed within the lumen. The syringe contains the medication and has a first end and an opposite second end. A plunger is disposed within the lumen and operatively connected to the first end of the syringe. A rupturable seal is provided to the second end of the syringe, which end is approximate to the administration end. The activation assembly activates the plunger to break the rupturable seal to establish a fluid communication between the second end of the syringe and the administration assembly. Accordingly, transportation of the medication from the syringe to the medication administration assembly through the medication administration end is allowed.

摘要： A safety syringe with a plunger in which a needle is attached to a mobile component that is mechanically not linked to the plunger but is slidable within the barrel of the syringe and has a valve mechanism for opening a port connecting the interior volume between the mobile component and the plunger to the needle bore. The mobile component is first pushed by the plunger to the bottom of the barrel so that the needle extends normally, the mobile component is mechanically locked in place for use conventionally, and the needle bore is opened. After use, the needle bore may be closed, the lock released, and the mobile component and attached needle sucked back into the barrel by pulling the plunger out, retracting the used needle into the barrel. There may be a plunger lock. There may be an upper barrel locking position for the mobile component.
