摘要： A damping control apparatus includes a control device for controlling actuators that generate forces acting between a vehicle body and wheels. The control device stores a single wheel model of a vehicle including a skyhook device having a damper, a spring and an inerter. The control device calculates a product of an acceleration detected by an acceleration sensor and an equivalent mass of the inerter, a product of a once integrated value of the acceleration and a damping coefficient of the damper, a product of a twice integrated value of the acceleration and, a spring constant of the spring as target damping forces to be applied to a sprung mass, and controls the actuators based on target generative forces based on the target damping forces.

摘要： A vehicle includes a vehicle body, a road wheel, and a suspension corner connecting the road wheel to the vehicle body. The suspension corner includes a suspension arm connected to the road wheel and to the vehicle body, and also includes a suspension force decoupling system disposed on an axis extending between the suspension arm and the vehicle body. The suspension force decoupling system includes an actuator having an actuator mass arranged on the axis that is configured to output an actuator force in opposite directions along the axis in response to an actuator control signal. The system also includes a compliant element connected along the axis to the actuator mass and one of the body and the suspension arm, and providing a predetermined level of mechanical compliance. A controller determines and generates the actuator force in response to a threshold acceleration of the vehicle body.

摘要： An electro-dynamically controlled leveling system having a plurality of air springs mounted on at least one axle of a vehicle for supporting the weight of the vehicle; one or more electro-pneumatic valves; and one or more sensors that monitor one or more characteristics of the vehicle and transmit the one or more characteristics as a sensory input. The electro-dynamically controlled leveling system includes a central control module in electrical communication with the one or more sensors and the one or more electro-pneumatic valves. The central control module receives the sensory input from the one or more sensors, calculates a dynamic condition of the vehicle based on the sensory input, determines a desired air pressure for each air spring based on the calculated dynamic conditions of the vehicle, and transmit a command to the electro-pneumatic valves to adjust the air pressure of the air springs.

A control unit controls an actuator to control a rotation angle of the right stabilizer bar with respect to the left stabilizer bar. The control unit determines whether the vehicle is moving, whether a vehicle speed is less than a first threshold value, and whether a vehicle state is in transition from a moving state to a stopped state. A detection unit detects a control amount of the actuator. When the vehicle is moving, the vehicle speed is less than the first threshold value, the vehicle state is in transition from the moving state to the stopped state, and the control amount of the actuator is greater than zero, the control unit decreases the control amount of the actuator such that the control amount of the actuator becomes zero before the vehicle speed becomes zero.

摘要： A method and apparatus are disclosed for cooling damping fluid in a vehicle suspension damper unit. A damping unit includes a piston mounted in a fluid cylinder. A bypass fluid circuit having an integrated cooling assembly disposed therein is fluidly coupled to the fluid cylinder at axial locations that, at least at one point in the piston stroke, are located on opposite sides of the piston. The cooling assembly may include a cylinder having cooling fins thermally coupled to an exterior surface of the cylinder and made of a thermally conductive material. The bypass channel may include a check valve that permits fluid flow in only one direction through the bypass channel. The check valve may be remotely operated, either manually or automatically by an electronic controller. A vehicle suspension system may implement one or more damper units throughout the vehicle, controlled separately or collectively, automatically or manually.

In a rear-wheel side vehicle height adjusting device for a motorcycle, after applying a startup current to a solenoid of a change-over valve in order switch an actuation position of the change-over valve, while switching an applied current to the solenoid to a holding current which is smaller than the startup current and holding the actuation position of the change-over valve, a control section intermittently applies a large current, which is larger than the holding current, to the solenoid.
