摘要： Inflatable airbag assemblies are disclosed. The airbag assemblies can include a housing, an inflator assembly, an inflatable cushion, a tether, and a tension control mechanism. The tension control mechanism can include a pretensioning retractor and a load limiting member. The pretension retractor can be configured to apply a retracting tension or load to the tether following deployment of the inflatable cushion. The load limiting member can be configured to control extension of the tether during ride down of the inflatable cushion by applying a load or drag force to the tether.

摘要： One general aspect includes a deployable containment system for a vehicle roof panel, the system including: a pair of guide channels proximate to an opening through the vehicle roof panel, each guide channel of the pair having a first end and a second end; a housing mounted to the first end of the pair of guide channels. The deployable containment system also includes a shield configured to deploy from the housing and travel along the pair of guide channels so as to cover at least a portion of the opening. The deployable containment system also includes an actuator disposed proximate to the pair of guide channels, the actuator configured to deploy the shield from the housing after a deployment event.

摘要： An airbag assembly includes an airbag and a panel. The panel extends from a first apex to a second apex each spaced from the airbag. The panel includes a depressed region between the first apex and the second apex. The depressed region is attached to the airbag. During a vehicle impact, the momentum of the occupant may move the occupant toward the depressed region of the panel. The airbag may absorb energy from the occupant, and the apexes encourage the occupant to be retained in the depressed region.

In some arrangements, the protector window and the sock window can be substantially aligned to allow inspection access to at least one curtain feature through the substantially aligned protector window and sock window. Curtain features can include fold configurations of the curtain airbag or other visual or physical markings.

The second fastening element is configured to be rotated relative to the first fastening element in order to change the condition of the fastener to locked.
