摘要： A hybrid vehicle includes a battery, a generating unit having an internal combustion engine and a generator which generates electric power by operating the internal combustion engine to supply the generated electric power to a motor or the battery, and the motor which is driven by the electric power supplied from at least one of the battery and the generating unit. A generation control apparatus for the hybrid vehicle evaluates the driving condition of the vehicle from viewpoints of the energy consumption at the motor, the NV performance of the vehicle and the generation efficiency of the generating unit and determines whether or not the operation of the generating unit is necessary based on an evaluation parameter of any one or more viewpoints.

摘要： An energy efficient vehicle and a disc-type dynamic motor thereof are disclosed. The vehicle comprises front wheels and rear wheels, and a gasoline engine is assembled in the vehicle for driving a generator producing power. The power is transported to a capacitor battery via a circuit control system and then to disc-type dynamic motors, which are assembled with the rear wheels, from the capacitor battery via two power lines respectively, whereby the disc-type dynamic motors directly to driving the vehicle travelling at high-speed and high torque via the wheels. Accordingly, the energy efficient vehicle does not include transmission devices, such as the clutch, the transmission, the power transmission shaft, and the differential. The power produced by the generator is directly provided to the disc-type dynamic motors to drive is the vehicle travelling and is enough to drive the disc-type dynamic motors, so the vehicle does not need to stop for charging.

In the control system for an FF plug-in hybrid vehicle in which external charging of the high voltage battery is available, the hybrid control module starts the starter, performs a mode selection control and a charge/discharge control, maintains the capacitor voltage equal to or higher than a voltage that allows the starter to start-up when a CD mode is selected at the time of ignition ON, and maintains a capacitor voltage equal to or less than a voltage at which deterioration does not proceed at the time of ignition ON with the CS being selected.

The alternator produces DC power. An ultracapacitor is operatively connected to the alternator to receive electrical energy therefrom. The vehicle still further includes an exhaust gas treatment system operatively connected to the engine to receive exhaust gases therefrom. The exhaust gas treatment system includes an electrically heated catalyst (EHC) device electrically connected to the ultracapacitor to selectively heat a catalytic exhaust system component. The ultracapacitor stores energy converted by the alternator from vehicle kinetic energy and releases the stored energy to heat the EHC.
