摘要： An apparatus may be used to control the cross-directional movement of a web advancing in a machine direction. The web defines a machine direction centerline. The apparatus may include a frame rotatable about a first axis of rotation and a guide member connected with the frame and configured to receive an advancing web. The apparatus may include a first rotation member connected with the frame and configured to rotate the frame by a first angle of rotation about the first axis of rotation to align a machine direction centerline of the advancing web with a target cross-directional position. The apparatus comprises a second rotation member connected with the frame and configured to rotate the frame about a second axis of rotation by a second angle of rotation to adjust the target cross-directional position, wherein the second angle of rotation is greater than the first angle of rotation.

摘要： A paddle wheel compiler includes a paddle wheel that accepts sheets from the front of the paddle wheel to form a set, unlike a disk stacker which accepts sheets from the top or back of the disk and flips the sheet. The paddle wheel compiler is unique in that it maintains control of all sheets in a set, except for the top sheet during tamping. The top sheet is registered to the set with side tampers, followed by a scuffing action to register the sheet against a registration wall in the process direction.

The plurality of pairs of rotating shelf structures cycle between a first (support) position and a substantially orthogonal second (drop) position with respect to a rotating axis for the rotating shelf structures. Each of the rotating shelf structures has a uniquely-portioned top surface that includes a substantially-parallel top (supporting) portion and a ramped lead-in portion facing the exit/ejection port from the image receiving media processing or post-processing unit in an effort to reduce any image receiving media substrate “stubbing” against a first of the plurality of pairs of rotating shelf structures in a process direction.

摘要： A system for transporting pallets with stacked items, such as paper or cardboard, comprises at least two supply lines, which run in a transport direction and the end regions are laterally next to each other. Each group of stacks has at least two stacks arranged next to one another transversely with respect to the transport direction. The pallets are a small distance from one another. A transport device is provided which is movable laterally to the end regions for taking delivery of the entire group from said supply line. A transfer station comprises supply, hoisting and removal devices. The transport device is movable laterally for transferring the entire group to the supply device. The hoisting device transfers either a stack of items of one group or simultaneously a plurality of stacks of items from the supply device to the removal device. The removal device comprises two independently drivable conveyor belts.
