摘要： A sheet supply device includes a support portion that rotatably supports a roll sheet, a drive portion that rotates the roll sheet supported by the support portion in a first direction and a second direction opposite to the fist direction, a first supply path to which a sheet from the roll sheet supported by the support portion is supplied, a second supply path to which a sheet from the roll sheet supported by the support portion is supplied, and a conveyance path that conveys the sheet supplied from the first supply path and the second supply path. The drive portion rotates the roll sheet in the first direction and supplies the sheet from the first supply path and rotates the roll sheet in the second direction and supplies the sheet from the second supply path.

In an example, a lacing engine apparatus can include a housing, a drivetrain, and a lace take-up mechanism for retracting a length of lace cable upon activation. The drivetrain can include various reduction gears to reduce rotational speed out of the motor and power the lace take-up mechanism. The lace take-up mechanism can include structures such as a double-yoke, a radial pulley including an outer rotating disc and an inner stationary disc, a variable take-up spool, or a zip-strip mechanism.

The transport control method includes a stable state determining step for determining, at time of the operation, whether a difference between the detection value of the tension sensors and a target value is within a stable width to make a stable state which maintains a stability time; and a gain decreasing step for decreasing a gain of the PID control to be less than an initial value when the difference is determined to be in the stable state.

摘要： A method and system for reducing tension fluctuations in a printing system are disclosed. A plurality of tension zones is defined in the printing system. Tension on the web in one tension zone is controlled independently of the tension on the web in the other tension zones. The printing system also includes at least one roller for each tension zone. The rollers receive tension control commands and control the amount of tension on the web in their respective tension zones. The printing system is used to print a first copy of the print job on the web and tension on the web in each tension zone is measured. Tension control adjustments are computed for each tension zone based on the tension measurements. The tension control adjustments are used to adjust the tension control commands to the rollers to print a second copy of the print job.
