The present invention pertains to a ruthenium complex represented by general formula (1) RuX1X2(PNP) (NHC)m(Solv)n(1) (in general formula (1), X1 and X2 each independently represent a monovalent anionic monodentate ligand; PNP represents a tridentate aminodiphosphine ligand, NHC represents an N-heterocyclic carbene derived from a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring, and Solv represents a coordinating solvent; and m represents an integer from 1 to 3, n represents an integer from 0 to 2, and 1≦m+n≦3.), a method for producing the same, a catalyst including the same, and methods for producing various organic compounds using this catalyst.

摘要： The disclosure provides a dual-catalysis system for direct conversion of olefins to alcohols. The cooperative catalytic system contains one oxidizing catalyst and one transfer-hydrogenation catalyst. A wide variety of olefins, including aromatic and aliphatic olefins, can be used as the reactant. The transformation proceeds with anti-Markovnikov selectivity, and in some aspects provides primary alcohols as major products. The disclosure further provides a system for oxidation of olefins with anti-Markovnikov selectivity.

摘要： Complexes of cobalt and nickel with tridentate ligand PNHPR are effective for hydrogenation of unsaturated compounds. Cobalt complex [(PNHPCy)Co(CH2SiMe3)]BArF4 (PNHPCy=bis[2-(dicyclohexylphosphino)ethyl]amine, BArF4=B(3,5-(CF3)2C6H3)4)) was prepared and used with hydrogen for hydrogenation of alkenes, aldehydes, ketones, and imines under mild conditions (25-60° C., 1-4 atm H2). Nickel complex [(PNHPCy)Ni(H)]BPh4 was used for hydrogenation of styrene and 1-octene under mild conditions. (PNPCy)Ni(H) was used for hydrogenating alkenes.

摘要： Disclosed is a method for producing a compound having an amino group and/or a hydroxyl group from a substrate compound having an atomic group containing CO or CS by eliminating such atomic group. The substrate compound, having an atomic group containing CO or CS (for example, an amide, a carbamate, or the like), is allowed to react with a compound expressed by formula (I) below, at a temperature of 120° C. or lower, preferably in the presence of an ammonium salt, to eliminate such atomic group containing CO or CS. 摘要： The present invention relates to novel Ruthenium complexes and related borohydride complexes, and their use for (1) hydrogenation of amides (including polyamides) to alcohols and amines; (2) preparing amides from alcohols with amines (including preparing polyamides (e.g., polypeptides) by reacting dialcohols and diamines or by polymerization of amino alcohols); (3) hydrogenation of esters to alcohols (including hydrogenation of cyclic esters (lactones), cyclic di-esters (di-lactones) or polyesters); (4) hydrogenation of organic carbonates (including polycarbonates) to alcohols and of carbamates (including polycarbamates) or urea derivatives to alcohols and amines; (5) dehydrogenative coupling of alcohols to esters; (6) hydrogenation of secondary alcohols to ketones; (7) amidation of esters (synthesis of amides from esters and amines); (8) acylation of alcohols using esters; (9) coupling of alcohols with water to form carboxylic acids; and (10) dehydrogenation of beta-amino alcohols to form pyrazines. The present invention further relates to novel uses of certain pyridine Ruthenium complexes.

摘要： A process for preparing an alkylene oxide comprising contacting an alkyl phenyl hydroperoxide with an alkene in an epoxidation reaction to obtain an alkylene oxide and an alkyl phenyl alcohol, wherein the alkyl phenyl hydroperoxide is prepared by a process comprising reacting an alkyl aryl compound and oxygen to produce a reaction mixture comprising alkyl phenyl hydroperoxide, alkyl aryl compound and oxygen; separating at least a part of the reaction mixture into a product stream comprising alkyl phenyl hydroperoxide and an alkyl aryl compound stream; mixing at least a part of the alkyl aryl compound stream with a basic aqueous solution; separating at least a part of the mixture of alkyl aryl compound and basic aqueous solution with the help of a coalescer to obtain an organic phase containing alkyl aryl compound, and an aqueous phase; and recycling at least a part of the organic phase to the reacting step.
