摘要： Methods and systems for determining a Pulse Repetition Frequency (PRF) pattern of a Secondary Surveillance Radar (SSR) are disclosed, when an ownship aircraft is not being able to receive interrogation signals from the SSR. Instead, a transponder equipped opportunistic aircraft with Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) Out functionality is used, which is in the line-of-sight with both the SSR and the ownship aircraft. The opportunistic aircraft is interrogated during one or more rotations of the SSR, when within a beam of the SSR. At the ownship, the transponder response signals from the opportunistic aircraft are collected, and the position of the opportunistic aircraft is decoded from ADS-B Out messages. The PRF of the SSR is determined using the collected transponder response signals, the decoded position of the opportunistic aircraft, a position of the ownship and a position of the SSR, and a predetermined transponder response time at the opportunistic aircraft.

In particular implementations, a fine timing measurement request message wirelessly transmitted by a first transceiver device to a second transceiver device may permit additional processing features in computing or applying a signal round trip time measurement. The fine timing measurement may include one or more files specifying a requested number of fine timing measurement messages requested for transmission from the first wireless transceiver device in response to fine timing measurement request message. 摘要： Time of Flight ranging using double-sided two-way ranging (DS-TWR) is a conventional method of ranging with ultra-wideband (UWB) radios and has been shown to have ranging accuracies on the order of tens of centimeters. This approach requires several transmissions for each range measurement, which does not scale well for multi-agent robotics because of the bandwidth needed for ranging measurements. This disclosure proposes a latent model for clock frequencies using a factor graph that enables greater consistency of clock synchronization and increases the rate of useful range measurements. This model is an effective and robust improvement to conventional DS-TWR that can leverage shared information from a network of robots. An increase in the rate of range measurements of 232% was obtained as compared to DS-TWR with the same hardware and transmission rate, and with a mean square error of range measurements of 20 cm.

摘要： An autonomous system with no Customer Network Investment is described, wherein the system is configurable to operate on in a band in addition to the LTE band. Such system allows the definition of hybrid operations to accommodate the positioning reference signals (PRS) of LTE and already existing reference signals. The system can operate with PRS, with other reference signals such as cell-specific reference signals (CRS), or with both signal types.
