摘要： Exemplary embodiments of systems and methods are provided for automatically creating time-based video metadata for a video source and a video playback mechanism. An automated logging process can be provided for receiving a digital video stream, analyzing one or more frames of the digital video stream, extracting a time from each of the one or more frames analyzed, and creating a clock index file associating a time with each of the one or more analyzed frames. The process can further provide for parsing one or more received data files, extracting time-based metadata from the one or more parsed data files, and determining a frame of the digital video stream that correlates to the extracted time based metadata.

摘要： Synchronous playback of time-based media received from one or more locations remote from a primary editing/mixing studio is achieved by time-stamping media samples with a local presentation time before streaming them to the primary studio. At the primary studio, samples having the same presentation timestamp are played back at the same time, independently of the samples' arrival time at the playback system. Media stored locally to the playback system may also be included as part of the synchronous playback using locally computed presentation times. In order to accommodate media streaming transmission delays, the playback system negotiates a suitable delay with the remote systems such that samples corresponding to a given presentation time are received at the playback system from remote locations prior to playback of media corresponding to the given presentation time.

摘要： A video signal recording and playback apparatus for recording each field of a video signal as a plurality of segments on a plurality of tracks, including a circuit for inserting segment index signals after conversion of the video signal to a recording signal, to be recorded together with the recording signal to designate the respective segments. During varied-speed playback operation, the segment index signals are detected in the playback signal, and the data thus obtained are used to control the operation of a memory which temporarily stores successively produced portions of the playback signal. A playback signal can thereby be obtained by combining output signals from the memory, which will produce a satisfactory display image during varied-speed playback operation, e.g. during high-speed playback, with only simple signal processing being required.

The address data accessing device comprises an instruction decoder supplied with an information signal selecting instruction data when selectively reproducing one kind of information signal from among the plurality of kinds of information signals which are reproduced from the recording medium, an address data fetch circuit for fetching and producing one of the time address signal and the chapter address signal which are reproduced, and a switch circuit for switching and producing one of an output signal of the instruction decoder and a signal from the address data fetch circuit in response to another output signal of the instruction decoder, and for applying an output signal thereof to the address data fetch circuit. The address data fetch circuit alternately fetches and produces the time address signal and the chapter address signal under control of the output signal of the switch circuit.

The different A/V content can be at a symbol, a shape, an audio, a video, and/or a text content. In one embodiment, facial gesture and/or motion gesture feedback of a consumer can be captured during playback of the digital A/V content. In the embodiment, analysis of the feedback can be utilized to generate recommendations for improvement of A/V digital content and/or status updates.

摘要： The present invention provides a meta-data display system capable of displaying meta data related to a shot video material along with the video material synchronously to the material. The meta-data display system includes an imaging apparatus for generating a video signal representing the video material. The meta-data display system also has a meta-data synthesis apparatus for extracting at least a part of meta data from the video signal including the meta data added for every frame and synthesizing the extracted part with the video signal. The meta-data display system also includes display apparatus each used for displaying a video signal including meta data synthesized therewith. In such a configuration, a part of meta data added to a video signal is extracted and converted into video data, which is then multiplexed in the video signal of every frame. Thus, the display apparatus are each capable of displaying not only an image represented by a video signal, but also meta data related to the image synchronously with the image.
