摘要： The invention includes a system and method for delivery and storage of an absorbent for solidification of liquid waste. The system includes a plurality of nestable containers configured to receive aqueous liquid to be solidified and forming a packet safe space when nested one within another. The system also includes a plurality of packets at least partially soluble in the aqueous liquid to be solidified. The containers include at least one packet and each packet contains a solidifier for use as an absorbent composition for the aqueous liquid to be solidified. A packet may be housed within the containers inside a packet safe space. The invention also includes an improved system and method for packaging a solidifier for solidification of liquid medical wastes.

Other steps cooperate with Sorption step (II) including Oxidation (I) to inactivate or destroy existing chelants, Solid-Liquid separation (III), and Selective Ion Exchange (IV) to deliver the wastestream to final processing. Still further aspects of the invention address the recovery and safe handling of substances such as C-14 (14C); and also address treating wastestream and removing 14C and water of hydration and forming dry solids for disposal, recycle or other use, such as, for example, granular, pellet or powder waste formation or product; and related special drying means for bringing this about.

摘要： Provided are dispersions which comprise more than about up to 55 percent by weight or more of an organic peroxide which is normally solid in an anhydrous liquid phase such as dibutyl maleate or dioctyl adipate, with about 5% by weight or more fumed silica to provide a thixotropic, storage stable organic peroxide paste. Addition of about 5 weight % or more of fumed silica was found to result in the formation of a shear thinning anhydrous dispersion of organic peroxide which was storage stable.

摘要： Apparatus and method are disclosed for plasma synthesis of graphitic products including graphene. A plasma nozzle is coupled to a reaction chamber. A process gas is supplied to the plasma nozzle, the process gas comprising a carbon-containing species. Radio frequency radiation is supplied to the process gas within the plasma nozzle, so as to produce a plasma within the nozzle in use, and thereby cause cracking of the carbon-containing species. The plasma nozzle is arranged such that an afterglow of the plasma extends into the reaction chamber. The cracked carbon-containing species also passes into the reaction chamber, and the cracked carbon-containing species recombines within the afterglow, so as to form the graphitic products including graphene.

摘要： This invention relates to a novel non-aqueous liquid oxygen bleach composition prepared by dispersing solid peroxygen compound in the liquid in which the content of an anhydrous non-polar organic solvent and a non-ionic and anionic surfactant is controlled. The composition is formed in a high viscous paste or a gel-type suspension and can be used as a multi-purpose composition, for example, the bleach and stain remover of clothes and the cleanser of bathroom and kitchen since they have a chemical/physical stability of no loss of available oxygen, an excellent bleaching and cleaning ability due to their alkaline pH range, no change of viscosity or no phase separation during the storage and so on.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing copper nanoparticles, in particular, to a method for manufacturing copper nanoparticles, wherein the method includes preparing a mixture solution including a copper salt, a dispersing agent, a reducing agent and an organic solvent; raising temperature of the mixture solution up to 30-50° C. and agitating; irradiating the mixture solution with microwaves; and obtaining the copper nanoparticles by lowering temperature of the mixture solution.According to the present invention, several tens of nm of copper nanoparticles having a narrow particle size distribution and good dispersibility can be synthesized in mass production.
