摘要： Methods of producing high purity powders of submicron particles of metal oxides are presented. The methods comprise providing or forming an alloy of a first metal with a second metal, optionally heating the alloy, subjecting the alloy to a leaching agent to remove the second metal from the alloy and to oxidize the first metal, thus forming submicron oxide particles of the first metal. Collections of high purity, high surface area, submicron particles are presented as well.

摘要： The object of the present invention is to provide a method of producing oxide particles, which can improve crystallinity of the obtained oxide particles, more desirably can form single crystal oxide particles stably. The present invention provides a method of producing oxide particles, which comprises at least two fluids to be processed including the first fluid and the second fluid, wherein one of the first fluid and the second fluid is an oxide raw material liquid obtained by mixing at least an oxide particle raw material with a solvent, and the other of the first fluid and the second fluid is an oxide precipitation solvent obtained by mixing at least a basic substance with a solvent, and wherein the method comprises mixing the first fluid and the second fluid in the space between the processing surfaces which are disposed so as to face each other, being capable of approaching to and separating from each other, at least one of which rotates relatively to the other; and discharging the mixed fluid in which the oxide particles are precipitated from the space between the processing surfaces; and wherein the method controls crystallinity of the oxide particles discharged from the space between the processing surfaces, by changing at least one selected from the group consisting of the temperature of the first fluid to be introduced in the space between the processing surfaces, the temperature of the second fluid to be introduced in the space between the processing surfaces, and the temperature of the first fluid and the second fluid at the time of mixing.

摘要： Provided is a roasting method capable of reducing both C and S components in minerals down to 0.5% or less, respectively, and securing a yield ratio of 90% or more for the Mo component. In a rotary kiln 7, a V, Mo and Ni containing material containing C and S components is subjected to oxidizing roasting to remove the C and S components from the material before reducing the material by means of a reducing agent in order to recover valuable metals composed of V, Mo and Ni. The rotary kiln is equipped with a burner 11 disposed on a material charge side 8a of the roasting furnace 8 to which the material is charged. In the roasting furnace, a direction along which the material moves and a flow of oxygen-containing gas introduced into the roasting furnace 8 are set to be parallel with each other.

摘要： The present invention is directed to novel sol-gel methods in which metal oxide precursor and an alcohol-based solution are mixed to form a reaction mixture that is then allowed to react to produce nanosized metal oxide particles. The methods of the present invention are more suitable for preparing nanosized metal oxide than are previously-described sol-gel methods. The present invention can provide for nanosized metal oxide particles more efficiently than the previously-described sol-gel methods by permitting higher concentrations of metal oxide precursor to be employed in the reaction mixture. The foregoing is provided by careful control of the pH conditions during synthesis and by ensuring that the pH is maintained at a value of about 7 or higher.
