摘要： Provided herein are processes for the generation of composite polymer materials utilizing a single resin. The processes utilize diffusion between a region undergoing a polymerization reaction preferentially polymerizing one monomer component and an unreactive region. Diffusion and subsequent/concurrent polymerization results in a higher concentration of the more reactive monomer component in the reacting region and a higher concentration of the less reactive monomer components in the unreactive region. The unreactive region may be later polymerized. In embodiments, photopolymerization is used and the regions are generated by a mask or other mechanism to pattern the light.

An effective detection period setting unit 523 sets an effective detection period for detecting a subsequent pulse signal, each time a pulse signal detection unit 522 detects a pulse signal from an encoder signal. The pulse signal detection unit 522 detects the pulse signal only within the set effective detection period. In a case where the pulse signal detection unit 522 does not detect the pulse signal within the effective detection period, a pulse signal generation unit 524 generates the pulse signal after the effective detection period.

An axis crossing an optical axis of the imaging optical system in a vertical direction is referred to as a vertical axis, and an axis crossing the optical axis in a horizontal direction is referred to as a horizontal axis. A grip portion is formed on the camera body at positions that are symmetric with respect to the vertical axis and symmetric with respect to the horizontal axis. The grip portion has an annular shape and a concave shape that is concave from the surface around the grip portion. The imaging optical system is positioned at the center of the annular grip portion in a case where the digital camera including a printer is viewed from the front surface of the camera body.

In a film cover that light-shields an exposure opening portion of the case, a notched portion continuous to the first claw opening portion is provided. In a case where the film cover is not removed in use, the first claw opening portion is used, and in a case where the film cover is removed in use, the second claw opening portion is used. By using the first claw opening portion, it is possible to avoid contact of the claw and the film cover, and to discharge only an instant film in a state where the film cover is mounted.

The protective layer comprises a microencapsulated diarylethene material that is capable of switching between a UV absorbing and UV transparent state. During an imaging process, the protective layer is switched from a UV absorbing state to a UV transparent state to allow UV light of a sufficient wavelength to convert a photochromic material of the display layer to a colored state to form an image. The protective material is then switched back to a UV absorbing state to prevent the UV light component from a reading source to convert unimaged areas of the display layer to change color, which would reduce the contrast and resolution of the imaged medium.
