摘要： A medicament device sensor (Sensor) comprises a body, a front wall, a back wall, an audio sensor, and a plurality of pressure sensors. The body includes a bottom surface on which the various sensors are coupled. The front wall and the back wall provide mirror symmetry in at most one plane, thereby defining a single orientation in which the Sensor attaches to the medicament device. The front wall includes a securement clip that attaches to a ledge on the medicament device. To detect secure attachment of the Sensor to the medicament device, one pressure sensor detects pressure when the Sensor is secured to the medicament device. Another one or more pressure sensors detect depression of one or more dosing buttons confirming priming of the medicament device. The audio sensor detects an inhalation confirming dispensing of medicament. In effect, the Sensor determines a dispensing event has occurred.

摘要： A measurement device is disclosed, embodiments of which are adapted to withstand, detect, and record detection of heat cycle events, including autoclave cycles. Embodiments of the measurement device comprise a sensor for measuring a characteristic of a medium and a heat cycle detection unit. Embodiments of the heat cycle detection unit comprise a temperature or atmospheric pressure responsive element, a detection module, data interface, and data memory. In one disclosed embodiment, the temperature or pressure responsive element is configured to respond to a characteristic of a heat cycle event while the heat cycle detection unit is off. In another disclosed embodiment, the detection module is configured to automatically power off the heat cycle detection unit in response to detecting an autoclave cycle. Methods of using the devices are also disclosed.

摘要： A number wheel assembly for a counter mechanism has a plurality of hubs with an eccentrically shaped aperture for slideable assembly and orientation on a shaft and eccentric lobe. Each hub having a recess and a pinion spindle in the recess for receiving an internal pinion gear having narrow teeth alternated with wider teeth that extend outside the hub. The number wheels, which represent successive orders of magnitude, are slipped over the hubs. Each number wheel has a single tooth that engages one of the wider teeth of the pinion gear driving the next higher order number wheel once for each revolution of the number wheel. This moves the pinion which, in turn, moves the next higher order number wheel. The gear ratio is 1:10 for a decimal counter. The lowest order number wheel is a drive wheel which includes means operable by a drive mechanism for advancement in increments of 1/10 revolution for each cycle of operation of the drive mechanism.

摘要： A waterproof digital lap counter automatically counting and indicating the number of laps traversed by a swimmer having the lap counter attached to a hand or foot comprises a LCD array including a digital counter, driver and LCD embedded within a sealed inner housing which is slidably and nonrotatably supported in an outer housing. Counting and indication of laps traversed occurs automatically and is triggered by abutment of the lap counter against the side of the swimming pool during the swimming stroke or flip turn of the swimmer. Abutment of the lap counter against the side of the pool momentarily closes a switch which sends an input signal to the LCD array representative of a lap traversed. The LCD array counts and provides a visible indication of the number of input signals received which corresponds to the total number of laps traversed.
