    • The invention relates to an absorbing solution used in a method for capturing carbon dioxide contained in a gaseous effluent. The carbon dioxide capture method comprises the following steps: a) the CO 2 -containing gas to be treated is brought into contact with the extraction medium so as to obtain a CO 2 -depleted gas and a CO 2 -rich extraction medium, and b) the CO 2 -rich extraction medium is regenerated in order to obtain a reusable extraction medium and generate a gas that is very rich in CO 2 .
