摘要： An apparatus for detecting the presence of an overheat condition in a fluid pump includes a pump head for receiving a fluid at a first pressure and outputting the fluid at a second pressure that is greater than the first pressure. A motor is positioned adjacent the pump head to drive the pump head to pressurize the fluid. A single overheat sensor senses an overheat condition in the pump head and an overheat condition in the motor. When a threshold temperature is sensed by the overheat sensor, a switch is activated to prevent operation of the motor. In one embodiment, the overheat sensor and switch are integral and may, for example, take the form of a bi-metal switch formed in the stator windings of the motor. In alternate embodiments, the overheat sensor and switch are separate.

摘要： A synchronous induction motor features improved assemblability of a rotor, significantly reduced production cost, and improved operation performance of the motor. A plurality of die-cast secondary conductors is provided around a rotor yoke constituting the rotor of the synchronous induction motor. End rings are die-cast integrally with the secondary conductors on the peripheral portions of both end surfaces of the rotor yoke. Permanent magnets are inserted into slots formed such that they penetrate the rotor yoke. The openings of both ends of the slots are closed by a pair of end surface members formed of a non-magnetic constituent. One of the end surface members is secured to the rotor yoke by one of the end rings when the secondary conductors and the end rings are formed. The other end surface member is secured to the rotor yoke by a fixture.

摘要： A pump assembly that has a control circuit and a pressure switch which control the operation of a pump motor. The motor drives a positive displacement pump that is coupled to a fluid system. The control circuit includes a pulse width modulator circuit. The control circuit is activated when a pressure switch senses that a line pressure of the fluid system is below a threshold value. The control circuit can either operate in a continuous mode to provide a constant signal to the motor, or a pulse regulating mode to provide a series of pulses to the motor. The pulses begin with a minimum width and gradually increase until a predetermined current limit has been attained, or the motor reaches a full speed with the control circuit in a continuous on state. The speed of the motor will then correspond to the flow demanded by the fluid system. The energy provided by the pulses is varied as a function of changes in peak current drawn by the motor. The peak current is sensed and used to determine the pulse width. Changing the pulse energy varies the speed of the motor.

The integrated unit station comprises a housing with an exterior wall portion that is removable, and to which comprises a cooling system for an electronic component. An automatically engaging coupling is arranged to automatically disconnect the electrical connection to the electronic component on removal of the exterior wall portion.

The sensor module includes a plurality of inputs connected to a plurality of sensors that generate a plurality of operating signals associated with operating conditions of the compressor. A processor is connected to the plurality of inputs and records multiple operating condition measurements from the plurality of operating signals. A communication port is connected to the processor for communicating said operating condition measurements to a control module that controls the compressor. The processor is disposed within an electrical enclosure of the compressor, the electrical enclosure being configured to house electrical terminals for connecting a power supply to the electric motor. The second voltage is less than said first voltage.

摘要： A motor pump includes a pump head for pressurizing a fluid and an electric motor for driving the pump head. Within the pump head, radial forces produced in two symmetrical pumping zones are balanced against each other to reduce stress and increase efficiency. High pressure fluid exits the pump and follow a flowpath through the motor air gap, through an end bearing carrying a distal end of a hollow pump rotor shaft, and returning to the pump head by way of the hollow rotor shaft. The motor rotor shaft is axially movable with respect to the pump head, which effectively floats the motor rotor in high pressure fluid. A motor stator barrier can inhibits fluid flow into the motor stator, and a rotor barrier can inhibits fluid flow into the motor rotor. The rotor barrier can is efficiently attached to the rotor shaft in such a way as to stiffen the shaft and increase its bending resistance. The walls of the stator barrier can are thin and expand under fluid pressure to make contact with and find structural support from the stator laminations and motor endshield. Overheat conditions within the motor, as well as the pump head, are detected by positioning a heat sensing switch within the motor adjacent the pump head to shut down the motor when an overheat condition is detected.
