    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make combustion stable in transition from initial operation when only a pilot burner is ignited to normal operation when both the pilot burner and a main burner are ignited in a vaporizing combustion device provided with the pilot burner and the main burner. SOLUTION: The vaporizing combustion device 1 is provided with a vaporizer 2 for vaporizing kerosene, an electric motor-driven type fuel pump 4, a burner unit 7 having the pilot burner 5 and the main burner 6, a combustion fan 8, and a combustion chamber 9 where combustion of the burner unit 7 is performed. Correction control is performed in the transition from the initial operation to the normal operation. A unit current-carrying time of a pump power source in initiation of the correction control (T0) is an initial unit current- carrying time. (Tf). As time goes on, the unit current-carrying time is increased discretely, finally becomes a normal unit current-carrying time (Tn). Hereby, fuel supplied to the burner unit 7 is increased gradually. Simultaneously, a selector valve 16 is shifted gradually from a pilot burner side (right end) to a position in the normal operation as time goes on.

    • PURPOSE: To ignite and operate a liquid fuel combustion device without moving a knob and a lever for adjusting an instantaneous ignition device. CONSTITUTION: The fuel feed pipe device for a liquid fuel combustion device is provided with a fuel regulating valve which travels between a startup position and an operating position, and which responds to the flow of liquid fuel passing through the fuel feed pipe device 41. When the fuel control valve 39 for the combustion device is opened, the fuel flow passing through the fuel feed pipe device 41 moves the fuel regulating valve to the startup position which regulates the fuel flow passing through a fuel inlet. Thus, air is sucked from an air inlet 86 to be mixed with the fuel. After the combustion device is started and the fuel is vaporized inside a generator 40, the fuel flow passing through the fuel feed pipe device 41 slows down. Then, the fuel regulating valve falls down by virtue of its own weight to the operating position where the fuel regulating valve does not regulate the fuel flow passing through the fuel inlet. As a result, the flow of air passing through the air inlet 86 is interrupted, and only the liquid fuel flows through the fuel feed pipe device.

    • PURPOSE:To shorten a pre-heating time, by starting an igniting operation before a vaporizng chamber reaches a predetermined temperature which is necessary for preheating before ignition, in a combustion which burns fuel vaporized in a vaporizing chamber and injected from an injection nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A solenoid operated valve 9 is in an open state, when a vaporizer body 1 is atthe low temperature, and feed oil from a pump 7 is circulated through pipes 8 and 10, in a vaporizing type petroleum combustor, when a switch is turned on, at a starting time. The combustor of said type is designed so as to burn in normal state, when gas, being vaporized by a vaporization stabilizer 17, is fed into a burner 24 from a nozzle 4, after the temperature of a vaporizer body 1 reaches a predetermined height by a heater 18 and the solenoid operated valve 9 is closed. In this case, the solenoid operated valve 9 is closed before the vaporizing chamber 2 reaches the above-mentioned predetermined value of preheating temperature before ignition, and the gas vaporized at low temperature is ignited by an ignitor which is not shown. By this operation, the vaporizer body 1 is promply preheated, as a result, the starting property of a combustor can be improved.
