    • A touch panel according to the present invention includes a first substrate having a first conductive layer on one surface; a second substrate having a second conductive layer on a surface on a side facing the first conductive layer; a plurality of first electrodes extending from the first conductive layer; and a plurality of second electrodes extending from the second conductive layer. The first conductive layer is formed of a plurality of parallel strips; and the plurality of first electrodes are formed of a straight portion extending in a predetermined direction, and an inclined portion coupled to the straight portion by being inclined by a predetermined angle with respect to a direction orthogonal to the straight portion. According to the configuration, fading, thickness variation and the like at the time of printing can be prevented and fine patterning can be easily carried out, so that an inexpensive touch panel in which the entire miniaturization is achieved can be obtained.

    • In one embodiment, a video reproducing apparatus includes: a module that acquires a distance image including distance information between a user and a distance sensor; a module that calculates a distance-based center of the user based on the distance image; a module that calculates a user instruction coordinate based on a relationship between the distance information and the distance-based center; a module that sets a reference plane based on the distance-based center, and calculates a distance between the distance sensor and the reference plane; a module that acquires, from the distance image, an image of the user that is located between the distance sensor and the reference plane, and generates a user instruction image based on the acquired image; a module that generates an operation subject image; and a module that combines the user instruction image with the operation subject image.

The spacer has a cutout portion provided therein. The upper and lower electrodes have portions located at the cutout portion of the spacer. The wiring board has an end located at the cutout portion. The wiring patterns are connected to the portions of the upper electrodes and the portions of the lower electrodes, respectively. An elastic adhesive seals the cutout portion of the spacer. This touch panel allows the wiring patterns to be connected electrically to the electrodes stably, and insulates between the wiring patterns and between electrodes, thus being reliable.

    • A bandwidth management apparatus determines, when a call whose communication information is to be transmitted as a sequence of datagrams is assigned, a link to be used for transmitting the communication information, judges whether there exists a surplus bandwidth in sections of the determined link, and allocates the call to a bandwidth necessary for transmitting the communication information when the judgement result is true, and informs a node that is involved in call setup for the call about the judgement result. Also disclosed are an address resolution assistance apparatus that cooperates with the bandwidth management apparatus, a band managing method, and an address resolution assisting method which realize the respective apparatuses. In a network to which the invention is applied, good speech quality can be stably maintained irrespective of its configuration and scale.
