    • Applied voltage to the contact charging sheet 71 has been controlled in the following various ways: a) the voltage at the photosensitive layer 10 at a point of time whereat it has passed the contact charging sheet 71 is caused to interlock with grid voltage so as not to exceed predetermined voltage to be electrified by the Scorotron charger 2; b) the applied voltage is caused to interlock with the output from the transfer unit 5 so that there is no portion which reaches the Scorotron charger 2 while the potential polarity has been reversed at the transfer unit 5; c) reduction in the film thickness of the photosensitive layer 10 is corrected in consideration of the cumulative number of sheets for image formation; d) the size of printing sheet is added; e) at the time of termination, a portion of the photosensitive layer 10, into which current has flowed at the transfer unit 5, is caused to stop always after passing the contact charging sheet 71; f) the contact charging sheet 71 is cleaned by means of AC component; and g) the applied voltage is switched while formation of an electrostatic latent image and the like are not performed. Thereby, the surface potential at the photosensitive drum 1 is prevented from becoming ununiform.

    • An audio signal recording and reproducing system in an apparatus for recording and reproducing a video signal with respect to a recording medium by one or a plurality of rotary heads, comprises a first delay circuit for delaying an input recording audio signal by a predetermined time interval, a multiplexing circuit for multiplexing a non-delayed signal which is the input recording audio signal and an output delayed audio signal of the first delay circuit, to obtain a multiplexed audio signal for recording, a recording and reproducing circuit for multiplexing the video signal and the multiplexed audio signal for recording thus obtained, to perform recording and reproduction of the multiplexed signal with respect to the recording medium by the one or a plurality of rotary heads, a reproduced video signal obtaining circuit for separating the video signal from a signal reproduced by the recording and reproducing circuit, to obtain a reproduced video signal, a separating circuit for separating the non-delayed audio signal and the delayed audio signal of the multiplexed audio signal from the signal reproduced by the recording and reproducing circuit, a second delay circuit for delaying the separated non-delayed audio signal by a delay time equal to the delay time of the first delay circuit, and a switching circuit for alternately switching the separated delayed audio signal and an output delayed audio signal of the second delay circuit, to produce a continuous reproduced audio signal.

    • A tracking control system is used in a magnetic reproducing apparatus which comprises a rotary magnetic head for successively reproducing recorded signals from parallel tracks existing obliquely with respect to the longitudinal direction of a magnetic tape. The tracking system comprises a head swinging mechanism for varying the height position of the rotary magnetic head, and swinging the tracing position of the rotary magnetic head with respect to the track of the magnetic tape in the width direction of the track, a head swinging voltage generating circuit for generating a head swinging voltage, one or a plurality of memories for sampling and memorizing a voltage which is to be supplied to the head swinging means, at a point in time corresponding to when the rotary magnetic head passes one or a plurality of predetermined relative tracing positions respective of the magnetic tape, a level detecting circuit for detecting the level of a signal reproduced by the rotary magnetic head at a point in time identical to that of the above, a maximum level detecting circuit for detecting whether the level detected by the level detecting circuit has reached a maximum, a control circuit for enabling the reading-out of the voltage memorized in the memory upon detection of the maximum level by the maximum level detecting circuit, and an adding circuit for adding the voltage read out from the memory and the head swinging voltage supplied from the head swinging voltage generating circuit, and supplying the added voltage to the head swinging mechanism.

    • A color video signal recording system frequency modulates a luminance signal separated from an input color video signal. A first signal processing means converts the frequency of the carrier chrominance signal separated from the input color video signal. The conversion is to a band which is lower than the band of the frequency-modulated luminance signal. The carrier chrominance signal is processed to advance the phase thereof, successively by 90.degree. for every horizontal scanning period, during a specific period. Thereafter, the phase lags successively by 90.degree. for every horizontal scanning period during a successive specific period. For recording, the said frequency-modulated luminance signal and carrier chrominance signal are multiplexed processed, and recorded on a plurality of tracks which are mutually disposed in parallel on a recording medium. The recording is performed in such a manner that a carrier chrominance signal of a phase advancing successively by 90.degree. and a carrier chrominance signal of a phase lagging successively by 90.degree. are in side-by-side disposition on mutual adjacent tracks.A color video signal reproducing system reproduces a signal recorded by the above described recording system. The frequency-modulated luminance signal is demodulated after it is separated from the reproduced signal. A second signal processing means restores the signal which is processed carrier chrominance signal separated from the reproduced signal, into the original frequency band. The chrominance signal is phase shifted successively by 90.degree. for every horizontal scanning period, thereby to restore the original carrier chrominance signal. The output signal of the second signal processing means is delayed one horizontal scanning period. The output signal of the second signal processing means and is mixed with the output signal of the delay means. The demodulated luminance signal is mixed with the output carrier chrominance signal of the mixing means, to produce a reproduced color video signal.
