    • An image processing device and a deinterlacing process thereof are provided. The deinterlacing process reads a memory to retrieve ten pixels of an image field that are temporarily stored in the memory, wherein the ten pixels are located on a first column, a second column, a third column, a fourth column and a fifth column of a first row and a second row of the image filed. Then, the deinterlacing process estimates the data of an interpolated pixel according to the data of the ten pixels. The interpolated pixel is inserted between the first and second rows of the image field on the third column to form a deinterlaced image frame.

    • The present invention pertains to a brewing filter apparatus capable of preparing foam, froth, or crema, particularly for coffee beverages, under low pressure. The apparatus can operate at pressures below 15 bar and as low as 1-3 bar. The apparatus comprises a mesh cover, coarse filter, fine filter, large O-ring, coffee container, small o-ring, and foam maker having two opposing holes. The holes have a diameter in the range of 0.3 to 1 mm. The crema is created by the turbulent contacting of two opposing jets of coffee, which enter the foam maker through the two opposing holes. To further increase agitation and the surface area for contact, a stainless steel wire mesh may be situated in the center of the foam maker directly in the path of and in between the opposing jets of coffee to facilitate the formation of more crema.

    • A mode selector mechanism is provided for a rotary power tool for selecting between an impact mode and a drill mode. The power tool includes a housing, a motor oriented in the housing, an input shaft and an output shaft both rotationally mounted in the housing. An impact mechanism connects the input shaft to the output shaft for imparting a rotary impact to the output shaft when the torque load exceeds a predetermined torque capacity of the impact mechanism. A stopping member is shiftable by a user between a first orientation that permits the impact mechanism to operate in the impact mode and a second orientation that prevents a coupler of the impact mechanism from retracting, thus maintaining the connection of the input shaft and the output shaft in the drill mode.

    • The invention in one embodiment is an apparatus. The apparatus includes a lookup table having a set of entries, each entry capable of maintaining a value. The apparatus also includes a DDA (Differential Digital Analyzer) table having a set of entries, each entry capable of maintaining a value and each entry of the DDA table corresponding to an entry of the lookup table. The apparatus further includes a first multiplexing unit having a set of inputs, each input corresponding to and coupled to an entry of the DDA table. The first multiplexing unit also having a control input, the control input causing the first multiplexing unit to route one of the inputs of the set of inputs to an output. Additionally, the apparatus includes a comparison block having logic suitable for comparing each entry of the lookup table to a comparison value. Furthermore, the apparatus include a select control block having logic suitable for generating a control signal based on an output of the comparison block, the output of the comparison block indicating which entry of the lookup table matched the comparison value. The control signal is generated on an output of the select control block, and the output of the select control block is coupled to the control input of the first multiplexing unit.
