摘要： A purification system for a colloidal dispersion containing an unwanted dissolved substance in the dispersing liquid phase is described which includes a back-pressure regulating feature, disposed in a first conduit and downstream of a semi-permeable filter element. This is used to force a portion of the unpurified dispersing liquid across the filter element and into a second conduit. The second conduit is associated with an adsorptive element that serves to remove the unwanted dissolved substance from the filtered portion of the dispersing liquid. A mixing chamber is disposed downstream of the back-pressure regulating feature whereby the purified dispersing liquid portion from the second conduit rejoins the bulk flow of the colloidal dispersion passing through the first conduit. In a preferred embodiment, hollow fibers are used which serve as the back-pressure regulating feature, the adsorptive element, and the mixing chamber before being discharged at the outlet of the device.

摘要： The present invention relates to a water treatment method including: a filtration step of feeding water to be treated to a membrane filtration device having loaded therein a porous separation membrane and performing filtration treatment to obtain filtrate; a discharging step of discharging the water to be treated in the membrane filtration device, which has been separated and concentrated by the porous separation membrane; and a cleaning step of cleaning the porous separation membrane by at least one treatment of physical cleaning and chemical cleaning, in which a cycle including a combination of the filtration step, the discharging step and the cleaning step is repeated multiple times, thereby obtaining filtrate. In each cycle, the filtration step and the discharging step are repeated multiple times, and the cleaning step is then carried out.

摘要： The present invention is to provide a means for easily replacing palladium alloy capillaries in a hydrogen purification device formed by using hydrogen separation membrane formed from the palladium alloy capillaries. The hydrogen purification device can be easily disassembled into a palladium alloy membrane unit and a storage structure thereof. A palladium alloy membrane unit is provided with a plurality of palladium alloy capillaries, a disk-shaped tube sheet supporting the palladium alloy capillaries, a pure hydrogen discharge pipe having a cylinder being in close contact with a periphery of the tube sheet at one end, a joint connecting with a pure hydrogen outlet of the storage structure at the other end, and preferably a joint being in close contact with an opening of a container of the storage structure at a position between the cylinder and the outlet joint. The storage structure is provided with a container storing the palladium alloy membrane unit, a heater, a raw material hydrogen inlet, an impurity-containing gas outlet, and a pure hydrogen outlet, a member provided on the pure hydrogen outlet, the member connecting with a joint provided at one end of the palladium alloy membrane unit, and preferably a member provided on the opening of the container, the member being in close contact with a joint provided on the cylinder of the palladium alloy membrane unit.

摘要： A membrane filter module configured to treat a liquid contained in a tank at an ambient pressure. The module may have a header, with a bundle containing a plurality of substantially vertical hollow fiber membranes, wherein a lower end of each hollow fiber membrane is fixed in the header. The module may also have a gasification device adapted to periodically generate a gaseous bubble and configured to release the gaseous bubble within the bundle. The module may further have an enclosure that substantially surrounds the bundle that extends from a lower region to an upper region of the membrane bundle, wherein the enclosure is configured to retain the liquid introduced into the enclosure such that the liquid surrounds the membrane bundle. The gaseous bubble has a cross-sectional area that corresponds with a cross-sectional area of the enclosure, such that the cross-sectional area of the gaseous bubble occupies substantially the entire cross-sectional area of the enclosure as it flows along the bundle.
