摘要： A valve seat has an inner passage and outer passages. A suction valve member has first passages and a first projection portion that guides, to the first passages, the fuel that flows from a pressure chamber at the time of valve opening. Therefore, an action force by the dynamic pressure applied to the suction valve member in the valve closing direction is reduced. An action force by the pressure of fuel that flows into pressure equalization grooves counterbalances the action force by the dynamic pressure of the suction valve member. Therefore, self-closing by the dynamic pressure can be inhibited, and the maximum output of an electromagnetic driving unit can be reduced. Fuel flows through a passage radially outside the suction valve member and the first passages. A fluid passage area is securable even when a lift amount of the suction valve member is small.

摘要： A high pressure fluid pump having a reciprocating piston which pumps fluid through a central passageway in a valve body of a valve assembly. The valve body forms with an end section of the housing a high pressure fluid chamber axially aligned with the piston. The effective pressure area in the valve chamber acting on the valve body is greater than the effective pressure area acting on the valve body from the cylinder chamber in which the piston reciprocates, so that a net rearward force is exerted on the valve body. There are forward and rear seal members around the valve body which are caused to come into sealing engagement due to fluid pressure in the valve chamber.

The pump dispenses, from a filled pump barrel, on outward movement of a valved piston and the quantity dispensed is determined by the position of a stop pin in a notched tube that is moved in unison with the piston rod and pivoted stop plates that limit movement of the stop pin. The pump is readily disassembled for cleaning and is adapted for easy mounting on a tank.

摘要： The liquid dispenser disclosed herein comprises two telescoping sleeves, one sleeve having a base portion to be mounted on the mouth of a container and the other sleeve forming an actuator having a discharge aperture, and a pump unit sandwiched between said sleeves and having a pump cylinder, a piston mounted in said cylinder and having a tubular piston rod connected to the spray nozzle of the actuator, and a return spring between said pump cylinder and said actuator, said spring being isolated from the liquid being pumped. The pump unit may be assembled by machine and can be tested for leakage, prime retention and operability before being inserted between the telescoping base and actuator parts, the pump unit having as a unitary part thereof a dip tube adapter to extend into the container from which the liquid is to be dispensed. The pump unit, being self-contained, may be used with various base portions designed to be mounted on container necks of different diameters.
