摘要： One or more image processing apparatuses, image processing systems, control methods and storage mediums for use with same are provided herein. At least one embodiment of an image processing apparatus includes: a scanning unit that scans multiple original documents placed on a platen glass and generates image data; an acquisition unit that acquires pieces of image data of the respective original documents from the image data generated by the scanning unit; a decision unit that decides on a page order based on pieces of geometric information of the pieces of image data acquired by the acquisition unit; and a file creation unit that converts the pieces of image data of the respective original documents into one file in the page order decided by the decision unit and stores the one file.

A display (12) displays a preview screen in which icons corresponding to each page included in the manuscript are arranged in page number sequence. An instruction reception portion (17b) receives, from the user, a modification instruction for instructing that the sequence in which the pages are arranged be modified according to a modification to the sequence in which the icons are arranged, the modification being performed by the user in the preview screen. When the modification instruction is received, a modification aggregation determination portion (17d) determines, on the basis of the information regarding the attributes, whether the modification to the sequence of arrangement will result in pages having different attributes being intermixed with the same aggregate page. If it is determined that pages having different attributes will be intermixed in the same aggregate page, a display controller (17e) controls the display (12) and causes the display (12) to display a warning message.

摘要： When long binding is selected in a double-side record copy mode, images read from documents by a scanner section are stored in a memory in such a manner that image data of odd pages are stored as compressed data whereas image data of even pages are stored as not-compressed data. Print data are read from the memory at the time of formation of images page by page. Whenever a page of not-compressed data is read from the memory, the not-compressed data are inverted in terms of data sequence and sent to a printer section so that formation of an image on a sheet of recording paper by the printer section can start at the bottom of the page. Whenever a page of compressed data is read from the memory, the compressed data are expanded and sent to the printer section in order of reading data from the memory.

摘要： The image forming apparatus comprises an image reading device that reads a manuscript and generating a manuscript image data, and a command input device that inputs a command. A layout analysis device is provided for analyzing a layout of an image expressed by the manuscript image data. A controller is provided which, when a command is inputted trough the command input device, decides a page order for horizontally or vertically juxtaposed pages based on a result of analysis by the layout analysis device.
