摘要： An image forming device having a printer unit, a post-processing unit, and an eject tray. The printer unit forms images on recording sheets, and the post-processing unit performs processing on a recoding sheet stack composed of one or more recording sheets output from the printer unit before the recording sheet stack is ejected onto the eject tray. The image forming device includes: a buffer unit that, while a first recording sheet resides in the post-processing unit for the post-processing, holds a second recording sheet therein, the second recording sheet output from the printer unit subsequent to the first recording sheet; and a reverse path that reverses recording sheets when the image forming device performs duplex printing. In a plan view of the image forming device taken along a vertical direction, the post-processing unit, the buffer unit, and the reverse path at least partially cover one another.

摘要： An image processing apparatus acquires a plurality of first images and one or a plurality of second images. The first images are acquired through a first reading operation in which a reading apparatus sequentially reads first sides of a plurality of document sheets. The second images are acquired through a second reading operation in which the reading apparatus reads second sides of one or more of the plurality of document sheets. In a case where the number of second images acquired is smaller than the number of first images acquired, the image processing apparatus determines a sequence of the plurality of first images and the one or the plurality of second images such that sequential numbers of the one or the plurality of second images are differently set depending on whether an interrupting factor has arisen.

The image forming apparatus of one aspect of this invention, which includes a printing unit configured to convey a printing material via at least part of a conveyance path used for original document reading processing, and execute printing processing of an image on the printing material, executes if the original document reading processing is not being executed when the printing processing of the image on the printing material is instructed, the printing processing without waiting for completion of the reading processing, and executes, if the original document reading processing is being executed, the printing processing upon completion of the reading processing.
