摘要： A process of catalytically dehydrogenating an alkane to an alkene, using Cr2O3 as a catalyst, where the catalyst is oxidized to CrO3 during the dehydrogenation, and is regenerated by using CO as a reducing gas. In regenerating the catalyst with CO, CO2 is produced, which may be fed to a dehydrogenation reactor with the alkane and reacted with H2 produced by the dehydrogenation, to form CO and H2O by the reverse water-gas shift reaction.

摘要： Techniques, methods and systems for preparation liquid fuels from hydrocarbon and carbon dioxide are disclosed. The present invention can transform hydrocarbon and carbon dioxide generated from organic feed stocks or other industrial emissions into renewable engineered liquid fuels and store them in a cost-efficient way. The method of the present invention includes: supplying hydrocarbon and carbon dioxide to a heated area of a reaction chamber in controlled volumes; forming carbon monoxide by the energy provided by the heated area; transporting carbon monoxide and hydrogen to an reactor in controlled volumes; supplying additional hydrogen to the reactor; regulating the pressure in the reactor by adjusting the controlled volumes in order to achieve a predetermined object; forming the liquid fuel in the reactor according to the predetermined object; and, storing the liquid fuel in a storage device.

摘要： The problem addressed by the present invention is that of specifying a process for producing aldehydes which, compared with conventional hydroformylation, cuts CO2, which utilises alternative sources of raw materials, and which has no need for a step of providing carbon monoxide.This problem is solved by processes comprising the following steps: a) providing at least one alkane; b) photocatalytically dehydrogenating the alkane to a mixture comprising at least one olefin and hydrogen; c) adding carbon dioxide and hydrogen to the mixture; d) hydroformylating the olefin to at least one aldehyde. More particularly, n-butane is initially dehydrogenated photocatalytically and the resulting 1-butene is reacted with CO2 in a hydroformylation to form valeraldehyde.The overall process exemplified for n-butane and CO2 is as follows: n-butane→1-butene+H2(photocatalytic dehydrogenation) 1-butene+CO2+2H2→valeraldehyde+H2O(hydroformylation with CO2)

摘要： A method of producing a hydrocarbon composition, the method including providing a biomass raw-material; gasifying the raw-material in the presence of oxygen to produce a gas containing carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, hydrogen and hydrocarbons possibly together with inert components; separately increasing the hydrogen-to-carbon monoxide ratio of the gas to a value of about 2; feeding the gas to a Fischer-Tropsch reactor; converting in the Fischer-Tropsch reactor at least a significant part of the carbon monoxide and hydrogen contained in the gas into a hydrocarbon composition containing C4-C90 hydrocarbons; and recovering the hydrocarbon composition. Fresh external hydrogen is introduced into the gas before feeding into the Fischer-Tropsch reactor. By using external hydrogen feed, the capacity of a biomass gasification process can be increased and any need for a Water Gas Shift for producing hydrogen from carbon monoxide and steam can be eliminated.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method for improving biomass gasification. By the present invention, volatile organometallics are contacted with a biomass before or during gasification. By this method, the biomass improves gas yields while reducing solid (tar) and liquid yields. In addition, the volatile organometallics interact with lignin in the biomass to produce methanol, which, in turn, results in a stable liquid or oil by-product or otherwise stabilizes the gasification process of the biomass. The presently disclosed method can also lead to increased syngas production and is potentially CO2 neutral. The energy input to the gasification is correspondingly reduced to reduce costs and the environmental impact associated with the gasification process.

摘要： The present disclosure relates to a power production system that is adapted to achieve high efficiency power production using partial oxidation of a solid or liquid fuel to form a partially oxidized stream that comprises a fuel gas. This fuel gas stream can be one or more of quenched, filtered, and cooled before being directed to a combustor of a power production system as the combustion fuel. The partially oxidized stream is combined with a compressed recycle CO2 stream and oxygen. The combustion stream is expanded across a turbine to produce power and passed through a recuperator heat exchanger. The expanded and cooled exhaust stream can be further processed to provide the recycle CO2 stream, which is compressed and passed through one or more recuperator heat exchangers in a manner useful to provide increased efficiency to the combined systems.
