摘要： Locking mechanisms and toolboxes including locking mechanisms are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a locking mechanism includes a frame including an opening, a lid, a latch coupled to the lid, the latch including a latching post and a flange, and a locking device including a draw mechanism coupled to the tab, where the draw mechanism is translatable with respect to the frame, the draw mechanism including a slot that includes a narrow end and a wide end positioned opposite the narrow end, where the flange has a width that is greater than a width of the narrow end of the slot of the draw mechanism, and where the draw mechanism is repositionable between a latched position in which the narrow end is axially aligned with the latching post of the latch and an unlatched position, in which the wide end is axially aligned with the latching post of the latch.

摘要： The apparatus includes a body portion and a door removably connected to the body portion, revealing the interior of the body portion, the door having at least one latching element. An access assembly is attached to the body portion, the access assembly including a latch bar having an opening to receive the latching element. A plurality of actuating buttons are provided for the user. A mechanism responsive to operation of preselected buttons in a preselected sequence releases an actuation mechanism. An operating member accessible to the user and operatively connected to the actuation mechanism moves the released actuation mechanism to move the latching bar so that the latching element is released from the latching bar, allowing the door to be opened.

A door is movably interfaced to the safe body such that the door selectively occludes the opening, thereby, selectively permitting access to the opening in one position and precluding access to the opening in a second position. A locking mechanism engages between the door and the safe body when the door occludes the opening. When provided with a key, the locking mechanism disengages between the door and the safe body, permitting access to the opening. An insert is positioned within the safe body. The insert has an opening formation configured to support at least one specific weapon, which is arranged to be accessed from the opening.

摘要： A combination key lock box comprising a body housing has a storage compartment which has holes to receive the toe of a shackle and the heel of the shackle. The heel or long-leg of the shackle remains inside of the body housing and the toe or short-leg can be moved away from the body to a lock releasing position. The shackle can be released from the body from the locked position to the open position by pushing down on the shackle to turn the dials to a correct combination. The heel of the shackle engages with the hole of the storage compartment cover to prevent the storage compartment from unlocking until the shackle has been released.

摘要： A rotary electronic locking system for locking utility box or storage compartments installed on trucks or other vehicles, using a remote device like a remote key fob to lock and unlock the storage compartments, or by wiring the system to the vehicle's factory-installed electronic door lock system and utilizing the remote device supplied with the factory-installed electronic door lock system to lock and unlock the storage compartments. The rotary electronic locking system operates independently from the existing handles on the storage compartments. It may be used as a primary or secondary locking system, providing additional security. The system includes a rotating rod assembly with strikers, which is rotated by an electronic actuator causing the strikers to engage with or disengage from striker plates attached to the interior of the storage compartments. A wireless remote device is used to signal the electronic actuator to rotate the rotating rod assembly or, if the system is wired into the factory-installed electronic door lock system, the remote device that operates the door locking system may be used to signal the electronic actuator to rotate the rotating rod assembly to lock or unlock the storage compartment doors.
