201 OFFSET PRINTER JP6323699 1999-03-10 JP2000255024A 2000-09-19 NAKAHARA NOBUYUKI
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve using efficiency of an ink by providing an ink recovering and recycling device for recovering the ink adhered to a doctor and recycling the ink for printing of next time or following. SOLUTION: An ink recovering unit fundamentally has openable/closable covers 2, 3 and a recovery container 10. First, a doctor blade 13 adhered with an ink 7 after doctoring is finished is inserted into an ink recovery port 6 constituted by moving the covers 2, 3 in directions 11, 12 by an openable/closable cover driving mechanisms 4, 5, respectively. Then, the covers 2, 3 are moved in directions 14, 15 by the mechanisms 4, 5 to sandwich the blade 13 between the coves 2 and 3, and the blade 13 is moved in a direction 16. The ink 7 adhered to the blade 13 is scraped off, stored in a recovery container 10, and the cover 2, 3 are simultaneously further moved in directions 14, 15 by the mechanisms 4, 5, the blade 13 is drawn from the port 6, and the covers 2, 3 are simultaneously closed.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always use a transfer material in a proper state for printing by a method wherein volatilization of a solvent of the transfer material occurring naturally in offset printing is made to proceed only in portions irrelevant to the printing. SOLUTION: In the equipment for offset printing having a transfer material supply means 5 for supplying a transfer material 7 to an intaglio 4, a doctoring means 6 for filling the transfer material 7 supplied to the intaglio 4 in the recess of the intaglio 4, with a surplus of the transfer material 7 removed, and a blanket 2 for receiving the transfer material 7 filled in the recess of the intaglio 4 and transferring it onto a body to be printed, the transfer material supply means 5 supplies the transfer material 7 for subsequent printing to the intaglio 4 immediately after the reception of the transfer material 7 by the blanket 2. Moreover, the doctoring means 6 conducts the removal of the surplus of the transfer material 7 and the filling thereof as to the transfer material 7 supplied to the intaglio 4 for the subsequent printing, just before the blanket 2 receives the transfer material 7 so as to conduct the subsequent printing.
203 DOCTOR BLADE AND EQUIPMENT AND METHOD FOR OFFSET PRINTING USING THE SAME JP34231998 1998-11-17 JP2000141593A 2000-05-23 NAKAHARA NOBUYUKI; ISHIKAWA NOBUYUKI
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of use of ink in offset printing. SOLUTION: Regarding a doctor blade 1 for filling ink 3 in an intaglio 2 used in offset printing by sliding the edge on the intaglio, an opening 4 for supplying ink which is opened in the shape of a slit in the direction of the length of the blade is provided in the fore end part of the blade. The opening 4 is opened in the face sliding on the intaglio 2. The doctor blade 1 can be constituted by opposing two blades 1a and 1b to each other with a prescribed gap 5 between them. The end part of the gap forms the opening 4 and the ink is supplied through the gap 5.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the disadvantage due to sticking of ink to a doctor blade and further to improve the efficiency of use of ink. SOLUTION: In order to scrape off the ink sticking to the edge 204 of a doctor which gives the ink 203 to an intaglio 201 and simultaneously scrapes off surplus ink with the relative movement with the intaglio 201, in an offset printing apparatus, a plate-shaped member 208 is disposed at a position where it can scrape off the ink having stuck to the edge 204 of the doctor with the relative movement with the intaglio 201 continued. Besides, a collecting part 207 disposed for recovery of collected ink so that the ink scraped by the plate- shaped member 208 is collected therein is provided below the plate-shaped member 208.
205 OFFSET PRINTER AND PRINTING METHOD JP26836998 1998-09-22 JP2000094630A 2000-04-04 NAKAHARA NOBUYUKI; ISHIKAWA NOBUYUKI
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To charge an ink in an intaglio pattern without scraping the ink of an intaglio surface by forming the same number of grooves of the same width as longitudinal or lateral length of a patter formed on the surface of the intaglio as that of the pattern on a doctor blade. SOLUTION: An upper surface of an intaglio 28 is slid in a printing direction by a doctor blade 33 to scrape an excess ink on the surface of the intaglio 28. In this case, grooves 34 of the blade 33 are formed in the state superposed with a lateral length of a pattern 35 formed on the intaglio 28. The surface of the intaglio 28 is slid in a direction perpendicular to the printing direction by a doctor blade 36 to scrape the ink retained by the scraping. In this case, the grooves of the blade 36 are formed in the state superposed wit a longitudinal length of the pattern 35 of the surface of the intaglio 28. In both the steps, the grooves of the blades are sufficiently pressed to an upper position of the pattern 35 on the intaglio 28 to thereby sufficiently charge the ink in the pattern 35 and to simultaneously scrape the excess ink.

PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of the scraping residue of ink or doctor streak on a plate at the time of squeegeeing during printing. CONSTITUTION:An intaglio 3 is filled with ink 4 using a squeegee wherein a squeegee blade 1a and the silicone rubber 1b as the elastomer arranged to the rear surface of the squeegee blade 1a at a predetermined height position are provided to a squeegee main body while the squeegee 1 and the intaglio 3 are brought to a contact state under pressure.

PURPOSE:To avoid leak of ink from a side of a squeegee when the ink is smoothed with the squeegee by a method wherein the squeegee is formed to an almost U-shaped form with a substrate which slides the squeegee on an intaglio printing and a projected board provided in an ink smoothing direction on both sides of the substrate, and a notch which smooths the ink to a uniform thickness by passing the ink is installed on an under fringe of the substrate. CONSTITUTION:A squeegee body 10 has a substrate 11 and projected boards 12, 13 provided on its both sides, and is formed to an almost U-shaped form with synthetic resin. For the squeegee body 10, a reinforcing board 14 is installed to its upper part, and a fitting board 15 to a lifter is installed to the reinforcing board. For a squeegee 1, a notch 11a is formed on an under fringe of the substrate 11. A width D of this notch is slightly larger than a width of a cell 2a of an intaglio printing 1, and its height H is established to a coated thickness of ink 3. The squeegee 1 is sued by being combined with an ink doctor blade to supply the ink 3 to the cell 2a of the intaglio printing 2. However, the ink 3 can be preliminarily prevented from leaking from both sides of the squeegee in that case.
