22 Heated light-emitting tube and illumination fixture or heating system using the same JP2001240128 2001-08-08 JP2003051201A 2003-02-21 MITSUTA KENRO
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simple and easily obtain visible light, which can be used as an illumination from a heat of a flame, and further obtain electric power by efficiently generating electricity from the heat of the flame. SOLUTION: This heated light-emitting tube has a vacuum tube 2, composed of a transparent heat resisting material and having fine powders 3 to emit light by being enclosed into the vacuum tube and by being heated. This is an illumination fixture which is provided with a means to form the flame, and in which the heated light-emitting tube 1 is arranged in the vicinity of the flame. Further, this is a solar battery to absorb the light emitted from the heated light-emitting tube and to generate electricity, and the illumination fixture or a heating system provided with a means to thermally-insulate the solar battery from the heat of the flame.
23 PORTABLE LANTERN JP2000242152 2000-08-10 JP2001093302A 2001-04-06 NORRIS R LONG
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lantern formed in a compact shape. SOLUTION: The lantern formed in an approximately cylindrical shape has a lower housing 25 comprising a fuel tank, a shut-off valve and an adjuster. A cover removably provided at a base 27 of the lower housing 25 is located close to a fuel tank. The fuel tank can be refilled through a fuel filling valve at the base. A burner tube 12 joined to the adjuster extends upward beyond the housing. A mantle 23 which is lit by ignition is removably mounted at the upper end of the burner tube. A wholly conical reflector 3 is arranged under the mantle and on the adjuster around the burner tube. A glass globe 1 is arranged around a burner tube/mantle laminate and a ventilator cover is mounted on the globe. The ventilator cover is mounted on a rail 26. The rail extending from both sides of the lower housing is easily removable for accessibility to the mantle.

34 MANTLE AND MANTLE DEVICE JP27190398 1998-09-25 JP2000133035A 2000-05-12 SHIMOKAWA KAZUO
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the replacement of a mantle, to reduce its cost and to provide uniform and beautiful light emission by making a supporting means and an attachment attachable to and detachable from a burner base and the supporting means, respectively. SOLUTION: Mantle stand holders 10b are formed at both ends of a flange 10a formed at the lower end of a burner base 10, and a mantle stand 12 is held by the holders 10b. The holders 10b are formed into a pocket-like shape so that the mantle stand 12 can be attached to and detached from the holders 10b. In this case, a mantle 14 is mounted to a device by inserting the mantle stand 12 into the holder 10b and by fitting a ring member 18 to the burner base 10. The upper end of the mantle 14 is fixed to the mantle stand 12 through an attachment 16, its lower end is mounted to the burner base 10 through the ring member 18 to which a rotation preventing measure is applied, and thereby, the mantle 14 is prevented from being twisted at the time of mounting or the like.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new lantern provided with a long tubular mantle to be installed on a burner assembled body by a spring clip. SOLUTION: This lantern has an electronic igniter to ignite a fuel flowing in a mantle 33. The mantle 33 is surrounded with a globe 29 and wire guards 110-114 surround the globe. A ventilative cover 31 is attached to a burner assembled body 32 and the wire guards in the way the cover can be detached, and the cover, wire guards, and the globe are made possible to the detached unitedly from the burner assembled body. A fuel tank 21 has a widely formed base 25 in order to increase the seating stability. The fuel tank and an air pump 27 have a check valve which opens or closes automatically following air supply and a pressure indicator to indicate that the pressure of the fuel tank reaches the work pressure. Oil is automatically supplied to the pump for every stroke.
39 STOVE FOR CAMPING JP12650994 1994-06-08 JPH0771765A 1995-03-17 NORISU RICHIYAADO RONGU
PURPOSE: To obtain a camp stove excellent in ignitibility in which flame is prevented from being blown out easily with wind by positioning the electrode of a piezoelectric ignition system adjacent the end of a pilot tube being inserted into a venturi tube and extending from a generator to the fuel inlet of a burner. CONSTITUTION: A pilot tube 101 extends rearward from a venturi tube 78 and extends forward toward a burner 65 while being curved smoothly through a bend of about 180 deg.. An air/fuel mixture flows around the 180 deg. bend of the venturi tube 78 and enters into a burner box 68 thence flows upward through an orifice comprising a burner ring. A part of the air/fuel mixture flows through a pilot tube 101 to the second end part 103 of the pilot tube where it is ignited by a spark being generated between an electrode 96 and one pointed tub 105 of the pilot tube when a piezoelectric ignition knob is turned. Flame at the end part of the pilot tube 101 passes through the venturi tube 78 and flows into the burner box 68 in order to combust main flow of the air/fuel mixture.
