    • The present invention is intended to efficiently implement noise countermeasures for a semiconductor circuit board and for a semiconductor circuit. The present invention is constituted by a control substrate, and a semiconductor circuit connected to the control substrate. The semiconductor circuit includes a substrate, an integrated circuit group, and a noise countermeasure, and is separated from the control substrate. The integrated circuit group includes an integrated circuit as a noise source. The substrate has a stacked multilayer structure, and shifts the frequency of a noise generated by the integrated circuit group to the high frequency side. The noise countermeasure is connected between the integrated circuit group and the control substrate. The noise countermeasure is a filter for attenuating the high frequency of a noise.

    • A multilayer static cylinder head gasket has at least one metal functional layer and a metal distance layer having registered openings. The functional layer has a full bead located radially outwardly from and extending about its opening. The opening in the distance layer is formed in a first portion having a first thickness. A second portion of the distance layer extends radially outwardly from the opening and the first portion, wherein the second portion has a second thickness that is less than the first thickness. A compression limiter is formed in at least one of the functional layer or the distance layer. The compression limiter prevents the full bead from being completely flattened, which in turn maintains the full bead in high sealing pressure against the distance layer relative to the remaining portion of the functional layer and also prevents premature fatigue cracks from forming in the full bead.

    • The metal gasket of the invention is installed in an internal combustion engine. The engine includes at least one cylinder bore, a plurality of bolt holes and at least one fluid hole. The gasket is basically formed of a metal plate and includes holes corresponding to the holes of the engine. The gasket includes a bead for sealing around the fluid hole, to which different tightening pressure is proportionally applied when the gasket is tightened. The bead includes at least one first portion where high tightening pressure is applied, and at least one second portion where moderate tightening pressure is applied. The second portion has spring constant less than that of the first portion. When the gasket is tightened, the bead is compressed according to the tightening pressure applied thereto to thereby properly seal around the fluid hole.

    • A gasket assembly is provided including a first gasket layer and a second gasket layer having an outboard region and an inboard edge circumscribing an aperture. The gasket layers present a sealing bead between the inboard edge and the outboard region. A stopper layer disposed between the gasket layers is attached to the outboard region of the first gasket layer at an attachment joint and extends from the attachment joint to the inboard edge. A coating of sealing material is applied between the first gasket layer and the stopper layer. The coating extends from the attachment joint to the inboard edge of the first gasket layer to present a contact region immediately surrounding the aperture where the first gasket layer and the stopper layer are in direct continuous contact with the coating thereby preventing gas leakage and metal to metal contact between the first gasket layer and the stopper layer.
