142 Conical gear transmission based on van Doorne principle, with two conical gear pairs arranged so that transmissions between each pair are multiplied by each other DE10003052 2000-01-25 DE10003052A1 2001-01-18 BOLLIG THOMAS
The transmission has extended contact sectors (G1, G2) due to the transmission being divided into two gear pairs, with transmission ratios of which are multiplied. Thee wheel pairs are on a common shaft and a displaceable axis. The desired contact radii (N1, N2) can be achieved by displacing them.

A pulley device (202) is disengagably connected to the clutch device (53) and connected to the variable pulley device (302) by a belt (23). A pulley device (41) is connected to the variable pulley device (302) by another belt (24) and the pulley device (41) is connected to a gear box (42). The variable pulley device (302) includes two disks (32, 33) and a threaded axle (34) connected therebetween. A movable member (31) having two inclined surfaces is movably mounted to the threaded axle (34) so that the two belts (23, 24) are separated by the movable member (31).

147 REACTIVE TORQUE CONTROL CA2041040 1991-04-23 CA2041040C 1994-11-08 PAULSON PETER O
A power regulating apparatus for controlling power to a cyclic load in which a pivotally-mounted constant speed motor has a fixed diameter pulley on the motor output shaft operatively connected to a variable speed pulley mounted on a driven shaft whereby motor reactive torque due to an increase in load on the motor causes the motor and its fixed diameter pulley to approach the variable speed pulley allowing the effective diameter of the variable speed pulley to increase for reducing the rate of rotation of the variable speed pulley and increasing the torque of the driven shaft.

A drive transmission structure for a tractor comprising a belt drive system for transmitting power from an engine output shaft to a transmission having a brake mechanism. The belt drive system includes a belt type stepless change speed mechanism having a split pulley assembly and a swing device for swinging the split pulley assembly toward the engine output shaft and the transmission, a first belt for transmitting the power from the engine output shaft to the split pulley assembly, and a second belt for transmitting the power from the split pulley assembly to the transmission. The pulley assembly defines two split pulley sections for engaging the first and second belts, respectively. A control device is provided to change power transmission ratios by actuating the swing device. Further, a tension pulley type clutch mechanism is provided to act on the first belt or the second belt. The brake mechanism and the tension pulley type clutch mechanism are controlled by the clutch and brake control mechanism.
150 Variable flexible drive DE3825091 1988-07-23 DE3825091A1 1990-01-25 SEFRIN WILLI DIPL ING; FAVACHE SERGE DIPL ING
The intention is to propose a variable flexible drive with two fixed pulleys and a double adjustable pulley (16) which is arranged between these and is supported in axially movable fashion on one side on a pivotable support (18) and no alignment errors of the tensile transmission element are to arise from an adjustment operation. As a solution, it is proposed to displace the support (18) axially relative to the adjustable pulley (16) as a function of the extent of the pivoting travel of the adjustable pulley (16), in particular by means of a cam coupling (38) with conical or curved cams (46). Flexible drives of this kind are used especially in agricultural machines, e.g. combine harvesters.
151 FR8814956 1988-11-17 FR2623264A1 1989-05-19 TAKEDA SHINICHI
A transmission construction for a pedestrian-operated type work vehicle having an engine (E) at a front of vehicle body and a transmission rearwardly of the engine. An engine output shaft (4) and a transmission input shaft (7) are projected laterally from the vehicle body and interconnected via a belt type stepless transmission. A change speed operational member (14) of the transmission is disposed within a vehicle front limit defined by an engine cover (21) and a vehicle side limit defined by a belt cover (20). Also, a belt support wheel (11) is interposed in the belt transmission. Consequently, the transmission construction is formed compact yet capable of providing a wide speed range. There is also preferably an automatic tensioning wheel (10).

154 Device for the stepwise setting of the speed of a work shaft, in particular that of wood-working machines DE3420564 1984-06-01 DE3420564A1 1985-12-05 PANHANS ANTON GUSTAV
The device for the stepwise setting of the speed of a work shaft (6), in particular that of wood-working machines, has a drive motor (1) which can be switched on and off and a work shaft (6) situated at a distance from the motor shaft (2) and driven by a V-belt drive. The V-belt drive is formed by a continuously variable V-belt mechanism (3, 4, 5) or P.I.V. variable speed mechanism. A setter (11, 12, 13; 22) is assigned to this mechanism. There are a plurality of presetters (21) for predetermined speed values of the work shaft (6), the said presetters determining the respective position into which the setter of the mechanism can be adjusted by hand (22) or in a driven manner (13).
