摘要： A marine engine exhaust system and method utilizes first and second enclosed, generally tubular chambers having generally parallel lengthwise dimensions and internal intermediate exhaust passageways spaced along the lengthwise dimension of the second chamber for circulating the exhaust gases through the first chamber, laterally through the intermediate exhaust passageway into the second chamber, along the lengthwise dimension of the second chamber and thence out of an outlet exhaust passageway which passes through the second chamber wall. An outer portion of the second chamber is integrally formed with an outer portion of the first chamber to enhance structural integrity.

摘要： A dielectric rod antenna has a dielectric rod and a waveguide which receives one end of the dielectric rod to excite the dielectric rod. The dielectric rod is divided along its length into at least two sections including a hollow tubular dielectric sleeve and a dielectric internal rod telescopically received and secured in the hollow of the dielectric sleeve. One end of the dielectric internal rod makes a releasable-fit engagement with the adjacent end of the dielectric sleeve so that the overall length of the antenna can be fixed against change during the use. The overall radius and the hollow radius of the dielectric sleeve and the overall radius of the dielectric internal rod are determined such that the propagation constant in the dielectric sleeve and the propagation constant in the dielectric internal rod are equalized to each other. The end of the dielectric internal rod adjacent to the dielectric sleeve is tapered so as to converge towards the end extremity.

摘要： An analog copying apparatus for optically exposing an original and copying it onto an arbitrary copy area on a copy paper has an area designating function and comprises: an image area designating apparatus to designate an arbitrary area on the original; a copy area designating apparatus to designate an arbitrary area on the copy paper; and copying means for copying the image in the image area into the copy area. This copying apparatus further has: an original moving apparatus to move the original on an original plate; a lens moving apparatus to move a lens provided in the optical path in an arbitrary direction; a cassette moving apparatus to move a cassette in which the copy papers are enclosed; and a resist control apparatus to control the resist timing, wherein the image in the image area is copied onto the copy area by means of at least one of or a combination of a plurality of these apparatuses. A copy magnification may be calculated and set from the image area and copy area, and the image in the image area is copied onto the copy area on the basis of this magnification.
