摘要： The present invention relates to an apparatus of manufacturing an aerogel sheet. The apparatus of manufacturing the aerogel sheet includes: a plurality of fixing vessels into which a fiber sheet is inserted; and an impregnation vessels provided with an accommodation part in which the plurality of fixing vessels are stacked in multistage and a silica precursor injection part which injects a silica precursor into the accommodation part to impregnate the silica precursor into the fiber sheet inserted into each of the fixing vessels.

摘要： An apparatus for treating cellulosic fiber containing fabrics to improve durable press and shrinkage resistance includes using steam as a vehicle to supply vaporized liquid cellulosic cross-linking agent and vaporized liquid catalyst to a reaction chamber in which the fabric articles are treated by cross-linking the cellulose. Normally liquid cross-linking agent and liquid catalysts are directly injected into a stream of treating steam to cause vaporization of the cross-linking agent and catalyst. Alternatively, a steam driven ejector type pump is utilized to entrain and vaporize liquid cross-linking agent and liquid catalyst in a flowing stream of steam supplied to the reaction chamber. Gaseous ammonia may also be supplied to the reaction chamber to condition the cellulosic material containing fabric before cross-linking.

摘要： Textile fabric previously impregnated with THPOH is treated to retard inflammability by passage therethrough of toxic ammonia gas in apparatus which permits the THPOH-NH.sub.3 reaction to be carried out in a sealed chamber preventing escape of the toxic gas. The invention operates to confine the gas in a flow path whereby substantially all of the gas flowing through the apparatus is passed directly through the fabric. The fabric is passed through the sealed chamber by means of gas-tight entrance and exit portals. A perforated drum is mounted within the chamber and the fabric is passed about the perimeter of the drum. Sealing elements cooperating with the drum confine ammonia gas introduced into the interior of the drum to flow only through those perforations covered by fabric. Undue accumulation of water which is a product of the reaction is avoided by both the slanted ceiling configuration of the chamber which promotes condensate runoff and the positive gas flow velocity established within the chamber which tends to draw water vapor from the reaction site.
