摘要： The output of at least the lowest-pressure turbo-compressor is connected via the intermediate cooler of the compressor group to the input of the turbo-compressor and a throttling means is placed in the conduit between the compressor output and cooler. The looping of the output to the input is effected to diminish the starting and idling power of the compressor group. Charging of the compressed air storage chamber is prevented by a check valve until the pressure of the pressure chamber is exceeded in the compressor group.

摘要： Compressed air engine having an auxiliary air compressor for building up to a minimum a predetermined air pressure in a compressed air supply tank which feeds air through an engine RPM control valve for the engine pistons. Upon reaching the minimum air pressure, the electric motor is cut off and the auxiliary compressor is simultaneously engaged with the crankshaft to continue to build up to a maximum predetermined air pressure level and maintain this level for operation of the engine. A main recycle air compressor is provided for recycling. The multicylinder four-cycle combustion engine motor block may be converted into a four-cycle compressor for the system, and hydraulic means may also be used as a force-multiplying means for operation of the crankshaft.

摘要： A fluidic speed governor for controlling the speed of pneumatic or hydraulic machines senses the machine speed directly from pressure pulsations in the pressurized fluid supply or exhaust of the machine. The governor includes a fluidic speed-sensing circuit having no moving mechanical parts and an input connected to the pressurized fluid supply or exhaust of the machine for generating a DC-type pressurized fluid signal having a pressure magnitude proportional to the pressure pulsation frequency which is directly proportional to the actual machine speed. A second fluidic circuit connected to the output of the first circuit is provided with a speed reference input signal and generates a pressurized fluid signal indicative of the deviation of the actual machine speed from the reference speed. A fluid power amplifier connected to the output of the second circuit develops a pressurized fluid flow for controllably driving the governed machine.
