摘要： The portable telephone of the invention comprises two housings having a display screen on one of the housings, a first connection section that connects the two housings such that the housings can be opened and closed in a first direction, and a second connection section that connects the two housings such that the housings can move from an overlapped state in a second direction that is different than the first direction such that step is formed on the end sections of the housings. When the portable telephone is placed on a flat surface such as a desk, the portable telephones stably stands on its own by way of the step with the display screen facing upward at an angle. Therefore, the angle between the display screen and the line of sight of the user becomes nearly perpendicular, so the display screen is easy for the user to see.

摘要： A semiconductor integrated circuit includes a wiring capable of connecting a plurality of chips on a wafer and has a configuration which is capable of cutting the wiring electrically and which allows all the chips to be tested at one time. Specifically, an exclusive test circuit region capable of being shared for testing the plurality of chips is formed on the wafer, and a test circuit is removed from each chip. The laser driving circuit is connected to a flexible substrate and arranged in a groove or hole provided in the vicinity of that portion of an optical pickup housing, to which the laser beam source is fixed. The laser driving circuit is connected through a heat conduction member to an upper cover among upper and lower covers, the upper cover being close to the laser driving circuit. Thereby, heat generated from the laser driving circuit is conducted through the heat conduction member to the upper cover to be transferred outside the optical pickup apparatus while being scattered in an inplane direction of the upper cover.
