    • Provided is a corrugated paperboard box making machine which comprises: a cutting device for cutting one corrugated paperboard sheet into a plurality of small-size corrugated paperboard sheets along a direction perpendicular to a predetermined transport direction; a folder-gluer for bending and gluing each of the cut small-size corrugated paperboard sheets; a counter-ejector for stacking the glued small-size corrugated paperboard sheets to form a batch of the small-size corrugated paperboard sheets; and an inter-sheet spacing device for spacing the small-size corrugated paperboard sheets apart from each other, between the folder-gluer and the counter-ejector. The inter-sheet spacing device comprises a transport section for transporting the small-size corrugated paperboard sheets from the folder-gluer to the counter-ejector, and a speed adjustment section for adjusting a transport speed in at least one of the folder-gluey and the transport section so that the transport speed in the transport section becomes greater than that in the folder-gluey.

    • An apparatus for accumulating and delivering folded cardboard sheets includes at least a pair of stacking bases moveable along a loop including a stacking position for stacking the cardboard sheets on the stacking bases and a delivering position for delivering the pile of cardboard sheets on the stacking bases. The apparatus receives cardboard sheets fed one by one, accumulates them in a pile consisting of a predetermined number of cardboard sheets, and delivers the pile of sheets. When one of the stacking bases moves away from the stacking position, the other is moved into the stacking position so that the stacking bases alternatively move into the stacking position. Preferably, the loop has resting and ejecting positions and when one of the stacking bases moves from the ejecting to the stacking position, that stacking base ejects the pile of sheets previously formed on the other stacking base.

    • A method for printing corrugated cardboard sheets is effected by transferring the corrugated cardboard sheets while jetting ink droplets from ink jet nozzles onto the corrugated cardboard sheets to form dots thereon. Said method comprises the steps of transferring the corrugated cardboard sheets one by one while at the same time sucking one flat surface of each of the corrugated cardboard sheets, and adjusting the relationship among the velocity at which the corrugated cardboard sheets are transferred, the suction force of the corrugated cardboard sheets, and the distance between the ink jet nozzle and the other corrugated surface of each of the corrugated cardboard sheets in accordance with the configuration of the said other corrugated surface and the desired DPI of dots to be formed on the said other corrugated surface. As a result, the ink droplets are jetted toward the said other corrugated surface to be printed thereon.
